Fabric properties
We know almost everything about fabrics. LechTech are individually developed technologies that give our fabrics exceptional performance properties. It is worth knowing them in order to choose your sofa fabric wisely.

Each fabric can be coated with the BeClean finish at the customer's request.
Be Clean / Stain resistance A technology developed for the Lech Fabrics and Select by Lech brands exclusively.
- The fabric has a finish that provides protection against greasy stains.
- It also prevents the absorption of liquids such as water, coffee, wine, juice, regardless of the temperature of the liquid.
- The coating includes both the top layer as well as the internal structure of the fabric, owing to which it prolongs significantly the water-repellent and stain-resistant properties of the fabric.
- Liquids form into droplets, which can be removed with a clean cloth, without using any cleaning products.
Easy Clean / A technology that provides trouble-free cleaning and removal of stains. A guarantee of:
- Easy cleaning of greasy and sticky stains from ketchup, mayonnaise, or fruits
- Easy cleaning of stains from sugary drinks e.g. cola, ink stains from pens or markers.
- You can remove all stains using only hot water and a cloth.
- There is no need to use chemical agents. This technology does not create a water-repellent layer on the fabric, thus, it does not provide protection against absorption of water by the fabric.
Pet Friendly/ A technology developed for all lovers of their pets.
- It ensures high resistance to scratches and thread pulling and facilitates the cleaning of the fabric from pets’ hair.
- It does not guarantee 100% resistance to bites or intense scratching.
WaterStop/ This technology prevents liquids with room temperature or lower from penetrating the fabric.
- It forms a hydrophobic film on the surface of the fabric, which hinders water absorption.
Fire stop/ Technology that gives the fabric flame-retardant properties
- FireStop finish is a chemical substance applied from the bottom of the fabric, which gives the fabric flame-retardant properties according to specific standards. Providing a coating with flame-retardant properties is particularly important for fabrics used in public places, e.g. hotels or restaurants
BabyOk/ The fabric has passed the most restrictive tests for the baby products
- The fabrics do not contain harmful substances specified in the REACH regulation.
- The fabrics do not contain carcinogenic, allergenic substances or toxic mixtures, such as pentachlorophenol, organic tin compounds, polyprotected biphenyls.
- In the production process, we do not use chlorine compounds or azo dyes, which, under the influence of reducing substances, precipitate substances such as toxic aldehydes.
